Video Ezy was founded in Australia in 1983. Video Ezy opened its first international store in New Zealand in 1988. At present, there are 162 stores in New Zealand.

In 1999, Video Ezy expanded into South East Asia, setting up its first store in Bangkok, Thailand. The success of Video Ezy’s Thailand store has led to further expansion throughout the South East Asian region.

Video Ezy opened its first store in Singapore at Jelita Shopping Centre in 2001. Since then, Video Ezy Singapore has expanded rapidly to become the leading rental and retail chain in Singapore. Established on the foundation of providing high quality entertainment and service to consumers, Video Ezy has attracted movie fanatics in Singapore with its affordable and wide selection of movie rentals and sales, and outstanding member care. Through the years, Video Ezy has become the premier movie rental and retail chain in Singapore with 16 stores conveniently located island wide. To date, Video Ezy holds a growing membership base of over 216,000 members.
